Member Testimonials
  • "Being a member of your state association gives you a great advantage over your competition with up-to-date information on state and national self storage issues.”

  • "We are proud to be members of the Maryland Self Storage Association, where we are actively supporting the industry and other self storage owners and operators in our state by fighting for the passage of fair legislation that enables our businesses to thrive. Membership keeps us at the forefront of the conversations that are most critical to our business in our local communities, and offers access to educational and legislative information that impacts our business.”

  • "U-Store has been involved in the national Self-Storage Association since 1978 and the Washington DC area associations (WASSA) since they first met in 1991. Most of us realized right away the need for a local association since we had more in common than not. Out of WASSA, we created both the Virginia and Maryland Self-Storage Associations in order to monitor and lobby the State Governments. I have developed many long-time friends through MDSSA and find that I can always go to one or more of them to help out with questions or problems. From a small one facility owner to a multi-state operator, you will find no better way to help out your business than joining up with your state association to keep up with what is going on in the industry as well as in the state or county."
